Training only with full-size targets can limit the variety and effectiveness of your practice. Full-size targets can also become costly over time and are not always practical – especially on indoor ranges where space is limited. That’s why we created these free downloadable targets: to give you more options and more value from every training session.
Each target has been designed with a specific training purpose in mind, helping you develop the accuracy, speed, and consistency demanded in Practical Shooting.
Simply download the PDF, print as many copies as you need, and start training. We’ve also included a dedicated Dry Fire Target featuring multiple reduced-size targets that can be cut out and placed around your home, office, or training area. Use them to improve your draw and presentation, sight picture, transitions, and trigger control.
REDUCED A-ZONE TARGET
The Reduced A-Zone Target is designed to raise your accuracy standard by shrinking the scoring zone to 80% of the original USPSA A-Zone size.
A full-size A-Zone can often feel forgiving during practice, especially at close distances. Training on a smaller target forces you to maintain a higher level of precision, reinforcing proper fundamentals and disciplined shot placement.
Despite its reduced size, this target remains ideal for proven drills such as the Bill Drill, El Presidente, and Acceleration Drill. Regular practice on a smaller target increases your margin for error in competition or high-stress situations, making full-size targets feel more forgiving.
6-CIRCLE TARGET
The 6-Circle Target features six individual scoring zones, providing a versatile platform for a wide variety of drills.
With pistols, it is ideal for fast doubles at 5 m, 7 m, or 10 m, as well as precision training at longer distances such as 15 m or 20 m. The clearly defined targets help improve presentation speed, recoil control, and accuracy.
With rifles, the 6-Circle Target is excellent for training recoil control and understanding the effects of height over bore at close distances.
The target is ideal for static drills, especially on indoor ranges.
DOT TARGET
The DOT Target is designed to isolate trigger control and expose even the smallest shooting errors. Every shot provides immediate feedback, making it easy to identify a flawed trigger press, as well as inconsistencies in grip or sight alignment.
Designed for pistol training, the DOT Target also develops concentration and the ability to refocus after a missed shot. Successfully completing an entire row without errors requires complete focus and consistent execution from the first shot to the last.
The target is divided into four drill categories:
- COMPRESSED – Train trigger control from a compressed ready position.
- DRAW – Build a fast and consistent draw to an accurate first shot.
- TRANSITION – Improve visual speed and target-to-target transitions.
- TIME – Shoot the drills using a timer to push your limits and track your progress over time.
Recommended distances: 3 m, 5 m, and 7 m.
1-2-3-4 TARGET
The 1-2-3-4 Target features four different scoring zones, ranging from a very small precision area (1) to a larger, faster target area (4).
This target is designed to train the ability to adjust shooting speed to different target sizes. Shooters should learn to slow down and apply precise trigger control on smaller targets while aggressively increasing speed on larger target zones.
The target can be used for various drills:
- One shot on each zone from small to large or large to small, training target transitions and faster splits as the target size increases.
- Multiple shots per zone to combine precision work with recoil control and grip technique.
The 1-2-3-4 Target helps shooters develop proper pacing by finding the right balance between speed and accuracy.
Recommended distances: 3 m, 5 m, 7 m, and up to 10 m.
2-CIRCLE TARGET
The 2-Circle Target features a large circle at the bottom and a smaller circle at the top, providing a versatile training tool for a wide variety of drills.
The concept behind this target is to combine two different scoring zones on a single target: a larger target area that allows for higher speed and a smaller target area that demands maximum precision. This makes it ideal for both pistol and rifle training.
The target can be used for a wide variety of drills, such as the Mozambique Drill. It is also perfectly suited for doubles, Bill Drills, and other exercises focused on speed and accuracy.
A key purpose of the 2-Circle Target is to help shooters develop proper pacing. Larger targets allow for faster shooting, while smaller targets require more control and precision. Learning to recognize these limits – and gradually pushing them – is an essential skill for improving performance.
The 2-Circle Target is especially effective for training:
- Recoil control and grip technique
- Speed and accuracy balance
- Transitions between targets with different precision requirements
H-BOX TARGET
The H-Box Target matches the dimensions of the USPSA A-Zone in the head area, providing a compact and challenging precision target. Due to its geometric shape, the H-Box Target requires a high level of precision and consistency.
The H-Box Target can be used for a variety of drills with both pistols and rifles, while stationary or moving. With pistols, it is ideal for practicing shots from the holster or while moving, increasing the difficulty. With rifles, it helps develop precision while requiring proper consideration of height over bore at close distances.
Compared to using full-size USPSA targets, the A4 format makes setup quick, practical, and cost-effective.
DRYFIRE TARGETS
Our Dry Fire Targets are miniature versions of the standard USPSA target, designed to make your dry fire practice more realistic and effective.
After printing and cutting out the targets, they can easily be placed on walls, doors, or other surfaces in your home, garage, or training area using tape or similar mounting methods. This allows you to create a dedicated training environment almost anywhere.
The different target sizes are designed to simulate various shooting distances, helping you develop and maintain a high level of accuracy.
By placing multiple targets next to each other or throughout the room, you can effectively train target transitions and the visual skills required to quickly and efficiently shift your focus between targets.
